3-Way Bass Module Add-On (Pair)

The "bass module" is an add on for the 1TD/1TD-X or P215/P215-X to convert your existing bookshelf into a floor standing 3-way speaker. It utilizes our low distortion SDX10 subwoofer with 18 mm of verified Klippel xmax with our matching APR10 passive radiator to extend the bass response down to 20 Hz.

How it works:

The woofer module comes with a passive crossover that gets installed between two sets of biding posts. Your amp connects to the first set of binding posts, which goes to the new crossover. That crossover has an output to the SDX10 and a second set of binding posts. The second set of binding posts get connected to your existing bookshelf with a short run of speaker wire. This keeps the whole system passive but also makes it a true 3-way. Make sure you add 3 washers to each passive radiator when assembling.
